Antrop\u00f3loga, ativista de grupos l\u00e9sbicos-feministas, foi uma das pioneiras da Visibilidade, criou o \u201cChana com Chana\u201d boletim do Grupo de Articula\u00e7\u00e3o de L\u00e9sbicas Feministas – Galf.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dedicou sua vida e estudos \u00e0 defender os direitos das l\u00e9sbicas, tendo sido por isso diversas vezes censurada.<\/p>\n

Em 1990, depois de sofrer anos de depress\u00e3o Rosely Roth suicidou-se. Em 2003, no I Senale – Semin\u00e1rio Nacional de L\u00e9sbicas, 20 anos ap\u00f3s a manifesta\u00e7\u00e3o no Ferro’s Bar o dia 19 de agosto foi institu\u00eddo como o Dia Nacional do Orgulho L\u00e9sbico em sua homenagem.<\/p>\n

\u201ca invisibilidade das m\u00e3es l\u00e9sbicas faz parte das tentativa de ocultar a exist\u00eancia destas experi\u00eancias, que rompem com o (falso) pressuposto de que ser m\u00e3e \u00e9 igual a ser heterossexual\u201d (BOLETIM CHANACOMCHANA, n. 6, 1984, p. 7).<\/p>\n

\u201c(…)identificamos nossa luta contra o preconceito e passamos a existir pol\u00edtica, social e culturalmente, rasgando o manto de invisibilidade que tanto interessa ao sistema.\u201d
