A Lei prev\u00ea pris\u00e3o 1 a 3 anos para quem realizar o procedimento e 1 a 2 anos para a mulher que procurar realiz\u00e1-lo.<\/p>\n<p>Por conta da criminaliza\u00e7\u00e3o as mulheres deixaram de receber tratamentos considerados legalizados, como tratamento em caso de aborto espont\u00e2neo, as m\u00e9dicas dizem temer acusa\u00e7\u00f5es , entre 2012 e 2013 47% das mortes maternas poderiam ter sido evitadas caso tivessem recebido o tratamento necess\u00e1rio. Ao contr\u00e1rio, mulheres s\u00e3o deixadas para morrer nos hospitais e em alguns casos lhes s\u00e3o negados tratamento para o c\u00e2ncer em ordem de proteger o feto.<\/p>\n<p>A criminaliza\u00e7\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m financia a epidemia de meninas menores de 14 anos que s\u00e3o obrigadas a gerar a crian\u00e7a.
